Just a quickie

Just a quick note to ask for prayer. Someone saw the house last night, and wants to come back on Thursday. I am so excited. Also, I was talking to a friend, and she has a friend who is on the police department who took has a degree in French and may be willing to do our translations way cheaper than any quote yet! I am waiting to hear back on that. Please pray that the person who is going to look at our home again, can come in, feel comfortable, and at home, like it should be their home. I will update as I know more! Love, Sarah

Sometimes it's better to use a translator who has done it before. There are a lot of papers to be translated including authentication papers, physicals, birth certificates etc. in addition to the homestudy. Often using someone who is not experienced in it slows things down alot. So while you might save the $300 or so, you might find that it costs you more in other ways. Not to be negative, just something to think about.

Praying that they will love your house!
If this person doesn't work out I have a GREAT person that does translations. She did ours in 3 days and her price was cheaper then most that I found.

Wow Jamie, I would love to know who this person is. I am trying to keep a list so that if and when all else fails, I have a backup plan. Thanks for your concerns Kathy. I didn't think of it like that. I was just assuming that if someone was fluent in French, then they could do it. I will keep updating frequently as so much is happening in such a short amount of time! Thanks to everyone for all your prayers! God is hearing them! God is answering them!

Praying for the house situation.

We used Aude from church. She did a great job. I think she is still in the states. I have her email if you need it. Just another back up plan.
