Picture fundraiser

Please Pray for a huge success with our Pictures in the Park this weekend. We are hoping to raise 1800 dollars. This with what we have will cover the first half of the Haiti fee. We are very excited that our most talented friend Todd Burnett is doing this for us!!! Much thanks Todd!!! I will update as soon as tomorrow is finished.

Finger Prints

The beauty of finger prints!!! Tim and I drove to Louisville today for our appointment!!!! We took both the babies, I was a little nervous at first, because I am thinking how are we going to get ink on our fingers, and manage not to get it on the babies.... Well, to my surprise, it was all digital. Tim says and I quote "I could have told you they wouldn't use ink" I really should communicate my worries more, he could have calmed me days ago:0) Anyhow I do have a praise, and that is our friends Jason and Amy went to Indy for their fingerprints, without an appointment, and got right in!!!! I am so happy about this. They are right where we are in the process. I will try to post more later, like as soon as we get our approval!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today my Baby is '1'

I can't be more happy for him. I pray that he has a wonderful day, despite not feeling well lately.

Daniel baby, you are not alone, 3 of your 4 sisters were not feeling well on their first birthday. Brittany had Chicken Pox, Emily and Kaylee were both under the weather also. I love you, and will see you in just over 1 week!!! I can't wait to hold you in my arms! Have a great day baby, We will have a mini celebration in your honor tonight! Once you are home, we will celebrate together every holiday and birthday we missed! We love you and pray for you!!!

Attention getter!

So I really hope that when I am gone, Tim does a better job than me lately!!!! The pictures prove that they are willing to do just about anything to get my attention!!!!!

Flight Booked!!!!! (for those of you who don't know me, this is huge, I hate to fly, and would rather walk, hitch hike, swim, ride in a car or even a hot air balloon than to step foot on a plane!)

Whining!!

I feel as though I am whining when I ask for prayer for cheap air fare, and for the 171h approval. Please pray for these 2 things. Please also pray that Amy and Jason's 171h approval will come also!!!! I know whine, whine, whine, it really isn't all I do, just when ever necessary.... Thanks guys!! Love, Sarah

1 week early...

Praise God, I got my pass port back today. It came a week before they said it would be back. I am sooooo happy about this. Just thought I would share how God is working!!

*also, does anyone know what immunizations I need, and if the health dept can offer them?

Got an email

I got an email from our translator on Friday stating that he had received our last bit of paperwork to be translated. He said he would have it finished by Sunday, and have it in the mail to us by Tuesday, because Monday is a government holiday. I am soooo excited! I can't wait to have it in my hot little hands. This will feel so good. The next worry is the Haitian Consulate, getting the papers there and back safely. I also am a bit worried about the prices of airfare. I knew I should have booked my flight, but didn't! Please be praying that the prices go back down, so that I can get a ticket! We have a budget to stick to, and I really need to stick to this budget. Also, please be praying the we get our 171H approval before I travel to Haiti. I really want to file the necessary papers while I am there. I don't want him at the O any longer than need be. Not that he is in any sort of trouble or danger at the O, but simply because I am ready, more than ready for him to be here in my arms. I know many of you can understand this. I am praying this boy home by next Christmas!!!!! Love you all, Sarah
