Memorial day fun!
OK, after the rain, Tim set up the bounce house....Let the fun begin! The little girls had a blast!
Brittany rode her bike with a neighborhood friend,
Kaylee tags along...
Then hurts her knee, and decides to join the baby girls...
After about 15 minutes, Emily seems pooped! Just kiddin', she fell, and I happen to get the shot. Really though, it started to rain again about 30 minutes after set up! It was fun while it lasted! Hope you all had a great one!

talkin' with my boy
We got to talk to our boy today, and it was so sweet! Man, I love him! It is amazing what God does to your heart during the adoption process! I have love for him, just as I had for my bio children, and for our adopted children, that we brought straight home from the hospital. I cannot imagine him not being in our lives. Lots of people don't understand why we would want another child, or why we would adopt outside of our own race, or why we would go to Haiti, and that's OK. They do not have to understand. All that has to happen is for us to follow the Lords will in our life, and allow him to change the thinkin' of others. We couldn't be more at peace with all this. It is our prayer that Isaiah is home by Christmas. Please join us in this prayer.

More Kids!
What a riot these kids are!
What beautiful eyes this little guy has! It was the first thing I noticed a year or so ago when I first noticed him!
What a content little boy.
She is perhaps the most perfect faced little baby! Perfect eyes, nose, mouth, and head! She is just beautiful!
What a sweet, shy, content, beautiful girl! God has a beautiful plan for this babe!

telling my story....
I wanted to share in words what this trip was like, but I've decided to share it with pictures instead. It was joy to see my son light up when I walked into the room, to have him fall asleep in my arms, or to wake in the night to check on him!
This time, I wasn't as stressed, worried, or nervous about being in Haiti. I took time to take all of it in! The one thing I remember most is every morning when the nannies would sing songs of praise, and then pray out loud. I gained a greater appreciation for these women who take such sweet care of our children. I always appreciated them, but until you truly listen, it's hard to know who deep their love is for the children they care for.
I took finger paint, to make pictures with the children, each child made a picture. I have the majority to send out to parents, so if you have an address I can send it to, please let me know, I really want the parents to have these special pictures!
Most of the children loved this activity!
they were a total joy to work with!
blessed
I don't remember, I am unsure if she is laughing or crying here.... Sorry Stephanie, I just can't seem to recall. She is beautiful at any rate!
OH no, it's the finger paint monster!
What a precious child! Happy, eager to please, and loving! The kisses I received were priceless!
Angela, Steven asked me to take this for you, he wasn't holding on to anything, and was so proud of his balancing abilities!
So shy, yet so lovable and sweet!
I have been nothing short of blessed just by knowing the children at the O! I had a wonderful time and pray that each and every child knew and felt the love that I have for each and every single one while I was there! May God quickly bring these children home to their forever families!

Update
Today was a total work day! I spent most of the day without my baby. He now cries when I leave him. I dread for Thursday to come. I know that the Lord is opening up the floodgates to all of these adoptions! He has the most precious smile, and the cutest little voice! I am really enjoying all the kids! Mia comes to me everyday, and jumps into my arms and says "I love you!" She is so sweet! Ellie cannot get enough kisses! She rubs my face, and then steals a kiss! Jonas lights up every morning. So much to say, but I am worried that the internet will fail me again, so enough for now! God is totally working down here, know that!

I'm Here!
I am here, and loving it!!! This hotel is like staying at the Hilton in America! The kids are wonderful! Angela, Steven keeps asking what it's like in Indiana!!! He wants to know how much things cost, if planes fall down, and if we eat a lot! Oh he also wants to know if we eat Cats!!! Anyhow, things this time are so much better, I feel so relaxed! The food here where we are staying is great! I cannot wait to get home, first for my family, and then to share pictures and stories! The kids are all doing great, Sandy seems to have everything under control! Please keep praying for safety! I will post more later! Love to everyone

Headed to Haiti!!
So I'll be leaving for Haiti Saturday morning. I am taking down finger paint, in hopes of trying to get each family a finger paint picture done by their little one. If you could, please email me your address, and any address you have of fellow adoptive parents who may not blog, so that I can send them their picture when I get back. Of course, please ask them if it is OK before you give me their address. Hope all is well here while I am gone. Please pray for safety! I will miss you all out here in blog land!
