First, let me say, that I am not trying to dismiss the trouble in Haiti. I just get so consumed with the troubles elsewhere, that it really starts to affect my mood, happiness, and faith. I have to think happy thoughts now, because I feel myself getting more and more depressed with what is going on in Haiti. I will continue to pray, will continue to think about it, but for just a moment, I need to Praise God! We are now only about $1400 away from having our last fee paid!!! This is so huge to me, a total blessing. God has been so good to us, and we are so very thankful of his blessing. So with that, I just want to share a Praise! :0)

This is FANTASTIC news! I am so glad you posted it. I needed to read something positive! I, too, have been pretty bummed. I have had to quit watching CNN videos, searching for articles, obsessively checking blogs, etc... I was beginning to feel hopeless. But the Lord is still at work. Thanks for the reminder ;)
I found your blog from Kathy's, I'm adopting from Haiti as well...and I couldn't Amen this post enough, I have to constantly reign my thoughts in from being overwhelmed, constantly have to place my eyes back on the Lord...so happy the Lord is meeting your needs! Praise God:)

Totally understand about the Haiti thing...remember...FEAR NOT!
I am so happy about this. I will continue to have monthly babysitting club, collecting cans, and saving every bit we can. I think that Tim is going to start to referee again soon, which is good, but long hours on Sunday for six weeks!
